An overdose of meat, AGAIN!! (shhh!! but yay!!!)

I would first like to say YAY!!! I set a goal for myself and I accomplished it. I set a goal of exercising everyday last week and I did it. I had to push myself Friday but gosh darn it I finished with 6hrs of exercise for the week under my belt and I did it finishing with an hour on the elliptical Friday and trust me I had to push myself all the way to the end. I don't know if I lost any weight yet though because I didn't weigh myself before I started. I plan on weighing myself Tuesday and seeing where I am at from there cuz I have kind of an idea of where I was before I started. Plus I can tell some changes have taken place. My posture as well as my abs have changed a little bit. Hopefully some pounds will start coming off this week to come because I need to turn in my fat club member card, lol. Now the big thing is to accomplish the same thing next week on top of adding a few more things I must do to the list. Since OO8 will be in Charleston I am sure I can accomplish them a lot easier because I'll have more time on my hands which sucks cuz I rather be in Charleston with him but I have to be here Friday to get Mel from the airport at 10:10am and I have a Dr's appointment before that. It is unfair because both of us don't want him to go but it is his job so what can you do.


This weekend, OO8's co-worker/friend showed up from taking his girlfriend to the airport for her journey back to Rome and stayed with us until today. It was festive and entertaining. He joined us Friday evening so we went out to Fogo de Chao, so another weekend day of overdosing on meat, lol. We had a bottle of delish wine and dessert this time which is highly unusual for us. Saturday we strolled around Lenox Square and I got my anniversary present slightly early, we've come to agreement and conclusion our anniversary is Sept. 1 and that is a week away but hey, which is a Hermes scarf. It is something beautiful too if I must say. It is a shade of green with some reds, creams, and I think browns. I'm not ready to take it out of the box they so carefully wrapped it in yet. We ended up going to Prime in the mall to eat and that was delish. I had new castle beer draft which was fairly delicious. We also had dessert there and the Creme Burlee I had and the turtle torta OO8 had were scrumptious. His friend had the Key Lime Pie which was ok compared to the ones I've tasted in the past. We came back home and guess what we received before going out, another piece to our desk in the multi-functional room. He ordered the hutch to go with the desk and thank goodness his friend was here so I didn't have to help put that together as well as figure out what is going on with his computer, lol. It looks nice and will be a great addition to help keeping that piece of area organized in some sort of fashion, lol. Today his friend left back to Charleston but OO8 didn't go with him, of course using an excuse that blames it on me but hey oh well, the excuse wasn't that bad, lol.

We FINALLY have his computer working or at least will I think or should I say we finally have updates going on cuz it is finally connected wirelessly to our wireless router. I called the people and finally got what the passcode was. I damn sure won't be forgetting that passcode now, lol. So Mel if you are reading this bring your laptop when you come if you want to, I know how to hook you up to our router and you finally be able to stay on, I'm thinking, lol.

He leaves tomorrow, THAT SUCKS!!!
