This weekend was a shopping for "folks I don't know in Italy" weekend as well as 4th of July weekend. I'm not complaining because shopping for other folks of course means me getting stuff as well. I actually just wanted a pair of puma shoes but of course I ended up getting a lot more than that plus a surprise that my best friend Mel is coming to GA the end of August and this time court and cops won't be involved, lol.
We went to the North Georgia Outlets and caught some good sales this weekend. I bought my first pair of shorts since being a size 12 and I must say I look very spiffy. I don't plan on wearing them long though because I see more weight coming off in my near future but hey I can't go to Italy with no shorts at all, just jeans and skirts, that's not going to work, lol. Oh, Oh and Mel would be proud of me too, I have just added to my capri collection by one of my own doing at that. I am enjoying the ones she gave me but you know I finally had to buy a pair of my own and they are white and groovy. I think we did good on our shopping for his family and friends too. I just hope his sister can wear the top we bought at Abercrombie & Fitch. That place is not a place for women with boobs, I don't care how small you are. If you have tits, breats, boobs of any sort, it ain't for you jack. Or I should say we will see when she tries to wear this tank top. Going in there was like going into an over priced American Eagle or something. I have never really liked their clothes. They seem just so plain and Target to me. Wait, who am I kidding, I rather be buying clothes at Target than there, lol. Then to top the experience off, the music was blarring and the perfume in the air was so strong you smelled it before you even got to the store so imagine what it was like in the store.
Today we went to the Perimeter Mall and finished the America to Italy list but lunch was deceiving I must say. We went to Taco Mac and that name was not what it was at all. Tacos my ass. Ok well they had tacos, fajitas, burritos, nachos on the menu but it wasn't what it could have been. This place was more a buffalo wing/burger joint with plenty of beers to choose from. I mean they had their own beer menu separate from the regular menu which is understandable with all the beers they had but I was ready for mexican food and that is not at all what I got. I mean yeah we had the fajitas but they weren't like having fajitas down in TX or at least like having them at Don Pablos. The queso, if that is what you want to call it, was melted cheese I could have done at the house, lol. All in all the day was well but BoooHiss on Taco Mac.
