Who would have thought I would be in Italy let alone Bacoli, Napoli and then again who would have thunk I would be enjoying it so much. I sit here at the computer typing away with street noises in my ear and a fresh cool breeze on my back. It is 12:39pm here and I just woke up almost an hour ago and lunch is about to be on the table here soon. I kinda miss the fact I didn't have my frosted flakes this morning but oh well. At least OO8 didn't leave me this morning w/his mom for work. I'm nervous about that day. I mean she is a wonderful lady to be around and has treated me marvelously but ummmm, we just don't speak the same language, her Italian and me American-English, lol. I'm sure it will be a festive day though because to explain something to me yesterday she made the cutest little pig noise, it had me dying and telling his friends later, lol. Being around her though helps my Italian or helps me pick it up better cuz that is all she can communicate to me in and so that makes me break out the Italian/English-English/Italian dictionary. I've really had fun the last few days w/our first week being almost over. We haven't done a lot of touristie things but just being here is touristie. Meeting his friends, hanging out with his friends, going to the beach, the "shopping strip", going to go to Rome, going to go to a Napoli soccer game as well as getting to go to the Isle of Capri and this other island out there but I forgot the name and is less touristie. We have done a lot and have a lot to do. I see I will be taking pictures forever, lol. I'm on strict instruction to take pics of anything different and I have been.
We have been eating very good as well but I can't wait until Sunday night where we are going to eat "nasty" Italian. You know the "nasty" where it is buffalo wings, fries, etc. That is what we are going to do Sunday and I can't wait. The food his mom has been cooking is delish as well as the slice of pizza I had the other day and the pizza I had at the beach but I'm on vacation and need something "nasty", lol. The caffe freddo I will admit is something new and delish as well. I need to back off of them when we start getting ready to leave because they are addictive especially when you can add Baileys to it, lol.
His friends are lovely and I have gotten along with his two closest female friends lovely. I've only met one male friend aka The Diva Queen and he is festive even though we don't communicate too well without OO8 but it has been fun all around. I think OO8 is happy in the fact that I love his hometown/city/place.
