The italian food was good peeps. I had Fett, w/shrimp and crabmeat in a cream sauce, 2 amaretto sours, and tiramisu for dessert w/chocolate drizzled on top. Oh it was all delish. I couldn't eat it all, I didn't need a doggy bag, wasn't going to eat it later, and I didn't feel guilty about leaving some there. One should never feel guilty about leaving some food behind. They give us way more than we should eat anyway and if you know you are not going to eat it later or shouldn't eat it later then don't take it home. Anywho Anywho
We ended up getting a Costco membership for the lovely price of $50, just I think $5-10 more than last time we had one which was I think back in 2002. We bought a microwave and a pots & pans set which I'm really enjoying so far. The microwave I'm going to have to get the hang of and also read the book for it. I have not seen one like it, most of it is self explanitory but I think there are some features we are not utilizing because we do not know they are there. That shall be a quick and easy read though I'm sure.
I boxed all of our old pots & pans and I'm going to sell those to Mel for like $5. He asked me what I was going to do with them last night; I told him I don't know but I had already talked to Mel and said I would sale them to her at garage sale prices. Out with the oldies in with the newbie goodies, lol.
Yesterday I was dying because the dwarfs in glass clogs came to practice riverdance on my metal head and it wasn't pretty but I didn't cheat too bad though. I met Mel at LeMadeleine and we had lunch, a safe lunch too I might add. I knew I wasn't going to get in a couple of meals due to the nap I planned on taking so I tried to get a few extra calories in at lunch.
I had:
Duet Magnifique
1/2ceasar salad
1/2chicken salad sandwich on a croissant (although now I see I could have had the french dip or roasted veggie but next time)
sm cup cream of mushroom soup
triple chocolate cookie (a little more than half, shared w/Mel)
water to drink
Dinner was pretty easy to take care of. I just ended up eating what I took to work for lunch, lol, but I also sauteed some veggies, zucchini, green onions, & bell peppers. Today I'm going to be on track except this morning I can't have a fruit smoothie because for one I'm out of milk and two there wasn't enough time for all that this morning, so I just winged it this morning and had oatmeal with a saucer peach. I am as full as I wanna be, lol. I'm so excited I feel better today I just wanna rush down to the gym and workout but I think I better wait just a little while long, breath, breath, I can do it, lol.
Well I'm off to go do this PDP crap for work. Periodic review business. I know I'm all behind on my training and I'm the one that set the dates but I tell ya if I knew I was going to be able to do something with the training then I wouldn't procratinate on taking it.
